Detailed Job Description:

This initiative requires strong manufacturing domain expertise, particularly in bottling plant operations, to gather and standardize requirements across geographically distributed sites and to design a robust, scalable solution blueprint. Deep understanding of IT-OT integration, manufacturing processes, process modelling, familiarity with industry standards such as ISA-95 for enterprise-control system integration. The Functional Consultant will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical implementation, ensuring that the Digital Twin architecture aligns with both operational workflows and strategic KPIs.

Areas of responsibility:

– Leading requirement-gathering workshops with plant stakeholders.

– Partner with business teams analyze as-is processes and translate operational challenges into digital use cases for process optimization, operational excellence, and energy optimization.

– Define functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

– Validating process flows and ensuring alignment with KPIs such as OEE, yield, and sustainability.

– Support the design of the DT architecture, including data models, simulation logic, and visualization layers.

– Collaborating with development team to create user stories, test scenarios, and training materials.

– Leveraging knowledge of bottling line equipment, SCADA/MES systems, and quality control processes to ensure the solution reflects real-world plant dynamics.

– Enable integration with digital models and AI/ML algorithms for continuous improvement.

– Active participation in Digital twin project life cycle – Discovery, design, pilot, testing, deployment, and scaling.
