What we are looking for

  • Clinical/Counselling/Forensic/Occupational/Education Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Nursing
  • Occupational Therapy
  • or Speech and Language Therapy

Relevant registration with HCPC, NMC or SWE, SCW or SSSC

Formal training in and experience delivering ADOS and ADI‑R assessments, ideally online

Ideally you will have assessed both children and adults

A high level of written and verbal communication

Excellent knowledge of NICE guidelines and DSM‑5 criteria

What you’ll do as a Specialist Neurodevelopment Practitioner

  • Conduct high‑quality autism assessments using gold standard assessment tools such as ADOS and ADI‑R
  • On average we look for 2 ADOS or 1 ADI‑R assessment per day
  • Deliver assessments for children, young people and adults
  • Use your clinical expertise and judgement, providing accurate diagnosis and post‑diagnostic recommendations
  • Collaborate with a highly‑skilled MDT
  • Produce well‑written clinical reports. You will have dedicated admin time to ensure you can keep on top of your workload
  • Provide meaningful feedback and recommendations for clients
  • Contribute to the development of the service
