Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Rate: £50-£70 per hour plus paid travel time and mileage
Hours: Flexible, associate work from ad-hoc to part/full time work depending on preference

About the Role
KT Healthcare is looking for an experienced Music Therapist to provide specialist support to a child with complex needs, including learning difficulties and cerebral palsy.
The role will involve using music therapy to support communication, engagement, emotional wellbeing and participation, with sessions delivered after school hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised Music Therapy assessment and intervention.
- Develop engaging, person-centred music therapy sessions.
- Support communication, emotional wellbeing, engagement and participation.
- Adapt sessions to meet the individual's physical, cognitive and developmental needs.
- Work collaboratively with family members and the wider support team.
- Provide appropriate clinical documentation and progress updates.
- Review and adapt interventions in line with the individual's needs.
About You
We are looking for a HCPC-registered Music Therapist with experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties and cerebral palsy would be highly desirable.
You will be creative, patient and confident adapting your approach to individual needs, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
