We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing specialist therapeutic services to children, young people and adults with complex communication needs across Buckinghamshire. About the Role
Working across a range of educational, community and home settings, you will assess, plan and deliver bespoke therapy programmes for individuals with complex speech, language and communication needs. You will work collaboratively with families, education staff and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
We are looking for a therapist who has:
- A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Significant post-qualification experience working with individuals with complex communication needs
- Specialist training and clinical experience in Selective Mutism
- Extensive experience assessing, implementing and supporting Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
- Excellent assessment, report writing and communication skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
