The shop manager will be responsible for the overall management of The Kirkwood’s charity shop. The prime purpose of the post is to maximise income and profit and ensure the shop is well presented and managed in accordance with the shop policy and standards, whilst ensuring The Kirkwood has a high profile and understanding by the local community. The teamwork, communication and training of volunteers is a key part of the post.

The Kirkwood provides specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, respecting their individual needs and wishes. Through education, training, and partnership with others, we improve care for everyone affected by a life limiting illness.

Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days over 7 with weekend work)
