We are looking for an inspirational tutor to deliver Arts and Crafts classes to our learners across Workington and the surrounding areas. Preferably someone with experience of painting and drawing and the ability to teach a range of textiles and craft would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver creative and exciting lessons that enthuse and develop adult learners.
- Work with learners in a variety of settings across the local community.
- Work with learners who have a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
- Have a can-do attitude and build excellent working relationships with their learners and colleagues.
- Have a flexible approach to spot and meet emerging needs in the local area; this role may include some evening work.
Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification (Min level 3 e.g. PTLLS or be working towards one).
- Relevant qualification and/or experience in the subject specialism.
- Maths and English qualification at Level 2 or prepared to work towards these.
