Role Overview
Temporary Contract – with the probability of it being renewed annually. Requires start 1st September 2026. Working hours 8am‑4pm with additional time each week used at the end of the day, to manage duties and responsibilities – paid.
The position is for a key person to take responsibility for a small group of 2‑year‑old children, contributing to their journals and working together to create beautiful, reflective and provocative environments, indoors and outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a small group of 2‑year‑old children and contribute to their journals.
- Collaborate with the team to design and maintain engaging indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ensure early years best practice and compliance with staffing ratios.
- Implement safe safeguarding procedures and provide a supportive environment.
- Support enquiry from customers and provide accurate advice in spoken English.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with children aged 2‑4 years.
- Qualifications that meet the approved ‘full and relevant’ Early Years criteria and inclusion in staffing ratios.
- Strong communication skills in accurate spoken English.
- Ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice.
