About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic self-motivated person with a drive for high achievement with excellent communication and performance skills with a commitment to providing a high level of service.

What will be expected from me? The postholder will ensure the effective, compliant, and efficient delivery of Highway Operations services. The role provides essential technical, administrative, and business support that underpins frontline highway activities and enables operational teams to focus on safety‑critical and statutory duties. The post also supports Statutory and Compliance Requirements. Highway authorities are required to meet legal and regulatory obligations. The postholder's responsibility includes:

  • Accurate record‑keeping and audit trails
  • Financial control and budget monitoring
  • Timely responses to customer and member enquiries

Essential requirements:

  • Level 1 Entry 4 GCSE or BTEC/ONC in a relevant subject or considerable relevant experience
  • ITC skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Once in role the post holder will be required to work towards a Level 2 Leadership & Management qualification or equivalent
