Do you have half an hour to spare in the morning or afternoon?Are you the kind of person who naturally looks out for others and loves working as part of a community?

We are currently looking for a dedicated School Crossing Patrol officer in East Ayton who wants to make a real difference to their local community.

The Role

Our school crossing patrols keep children and adults safe on their daily school journeys, providing a vital service to the local community.

Duty times: Monday–Friday8.20am – 9 am and 15.10 – 15.45(5 hours 50 minutes per week)

Your duties will include:

  • Ensure safe road crossing for children and pedestrians during patrol times
  • Stop traffic using the official ‘STOP’ sign
  • Conduct pre-duty health and safety checks of the crossing site
  • Report any hazards, equipment issues, or site concerns to the Patrol Officer
  • Wear and maintain approved uniform and equipment
