The predicted salary is between 27088 - 29062 £ per year.
We’re looking for roadworker/drivers to be part of our team undertaking major highway, bridge and related construction and reconstruction projects within Derbyshire. You’ll also be part of a mandatory rota to deliver emergency services and winter maintenance (gritting and snow clearing), outside normal working hours, for which you’ll receive additional pay.
Using a range of vehicles and specialised plant and equipment the work includes:
- drainage
- road resurfacing
- manhole construction
- kerbing works
- fencing
- flag and block laying
- structural concreting
- patching
We’d like to hear from you if you have:
- A full driving licence LGV C, G
- Experience in highways maintenance and construction services.
- The ability to work safely and competently to meet performance and quality standards, maintain good relationships with the public and keep traffic flowing freely.
We offer a friendly and supportive working environment, a variety of Derbyshire based work, regular working hours (typically 0800 until 1600) and additional payments for working out of hours to provide adverse weather and emergency services.
