Do you have the experience and motivation to really make a difference in a local community? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic Community Development Team. You will be working across different communities and alongside local partners focusing on community development and wellbeing in the South Lakeland area, providing support within this service area and to elected Members.
Who we are looking for
The successful post holder will work alongside team colleagues to provide a comprehensive and responsive support service through the organisation of resources, providing information, administration, finance and engagement support. This is an interesting and varied role which involves event and activity co‑ordination, dealing with residents, organisations, partner agencies and internal teams. On occasion, you may need to work unsocial hours and travel independently elsewhere in the county.
