This is a rare opportunity to join the well-established admin team at Aycliffe Secure Centre, where no two days will be the same. The Home & Education Aligned Administrator provides vital administrative support to Aycliffe Secure Centre, working closely with the education team, managers and external agencies to keep daily operations running smoothly.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

  • Managing attendance tasks, welfare calls and education-related admin
  • Preparing accurate minutes for multi-agency meetings and distributing them securely
  • Processing admissions, maintaining records on ClearCare and handling confidential information
  • Managing orders, deliveries, invoices and maintaining efficient filing systems
  • Using a range of IT systems (Microsoft Office, Oracle, ClearCare, eCase) to support the centre’s work

WHAT WILL I NEED?

  • Solid admin experience with strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills, able to manage competing deadlines
  • Accurate minute‑taking and the ability to produce clear written records
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent), with a proactive and professional approach
