As an Apprentice within the Housing Solutions Service, alongside your apprenticeship studies, you will provide first-class services to customers who approach our service with their housing related needs. You will be based within the Private Rented Partnership Team, who are responsible for sourcing and assessing conditions of Private Rented Accommodation within the Kirklees area that will go on to be used to re-house our homeless households.
You will be responsible for triaging incoming enquiries and work that flows into the team on a daily basis. You will also carry out proactive outreach work to generate interest and secure leads on properties that will go on to be used to re-house our customers. You will be involved in the accurate collation and input of data to assist in the production of management, financial and performance information. You will assist in conducting the necessary checking, recording, registration and monitoring of enquiries, complaints, and applications in accordance with relevant procedures.
You will maintain records and statistics to enable effective monitoring and forward planning utilising appropriate IT systems. You may prepare and dispatch relevant communications in relation to Housing register Applications, Homelessness cases, HMO Licenses & Housing Compliance cases. This role is based within Housing Solutions Service. You will be expected to travel to different work locations within the Kirklees area.
