The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
We are looking for a Finance Officer (Schools) to work in Service Accountancy. You will work closely with other team members to support schools in Kirklees. This will involve assisting schools with their budget processes; providing advice and support on finance issues; ensuring accuracy of school reporting and therefore Kirklees central accounting records and other tasks to support the wider team.
We offer hybrid working, but most of your time would be working remotely. We also offer flexible working arrangements.
You will be AAT qualified, a graduate in a relevant discipline, possess a similar qualification or have a demonstrable ability through experience to work at this level. Experience of working in a finance function providing financial and management accounting support, audit or similar services is desirable but not essential. Knowledge and understanding of school finances is desirable but not essential.
