As we continue to build a modern, resilient and resident-focused council, we are seeking an Associate Director for Law & Governance to play a central role in shaping how we work, how we make decisions and how we deliver lasting improvement.
This is a significant leadership opportunity at the heart of the Council’s future direction, providing strategic leadership across legal services, constitutional governance, data protection and information governance. Your expertise will help ensure that the Council operates with confidence, transparency and integrity, while enabling the organisation to respond effectively to change.
You will join a developing senior leadership team, united by a shared commitment to collaboration, improvement and public service. Working with Directors, elected Members, the Chief Executive and partners, you will help strengthen a One Council approach, ensuring that robust governance supports clear priorities, effective delivery and better outcomes for residents.
