About the role

You will lead the development of services and partnerships, ensuring strong delivery and that the Council meets its statutory responsibilities, alongside high‑quality, effective support.

A typical week might include

  • Leading strategic and partnership meetings
  • Working with partners on complex safeguarding issues
  • Reviewing performance and improving services
  • Driving learning to strengthen practice and outcomes

  • Has experience in safeguarding, domestic abuse or related services
  • Can lead, influence and work effectively across organisations
  • Builds strong, trusting partnerships
  • Brings integrity, sound judgement and a commitment to better outcomes.
