About the role
You will lead the development of services and partnerships, ensuring strong delivery and that the Council meets its statutory responsibilities, alongside high‑quality, effective support.
A typical week might include
- Leading strategic and partnership meetings
- Working with partners on complex safeguarding issues
- Reviewing performance and improving services
- Driving learning to strengthen practice and outcomes

- Has experience in safeguarding, domestic abuse or related services
- Can lead, influence and work effectively across organisations
- Builds strong, trusting partnerships
- Brings integrity, sound judgement and a commitment to better outcomes.
