Do you have the skills and determination to help secure the right homes and support for children and young people? We’re looking for a Senior Placement Officer to join our Children’s Services Commissioning and Placements team and play a vital role in achieving the best possible outcomes for children in our care.
This rewarding role sits at the heart of service delivery, working closely with social workers, providers and partner agencies to identify and secure high-quality placements that meet the individual needs of children and young people. You’ll use your experience, knowledge and relationship-building skills to help ensure children are placed in safe, supportive and nurturing environments where they can thrive.
As part of our ambitious improvement journey and continued investment in Children’s Services, you’ll contribute to delivering effective placement solutions, supporting stability for children and helping us achieve value for money while maintaining a relentless focus on quality. You’ll also work collaboratively with colleagues across the service to respond to changing needs and find creative solutions for some of our most vulnerable children and young people.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, resilient and passionate about making a difference. If you want to be part of a team that is committed to improving outcomes for children and families across Cheshire East, we’d love to hear from you.
