This role is part-time, working 18.5 hours per week with a pro-rata salary up to £17,334 per annum. The successful candidate will deliver training throughout North Essex.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, inclusive and engaging teaching, learning and assessment within a designated vocational area, both in person and online.
- Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and learning materials that reflect sector practice, employer expectations and awarding body criteria.
- Design and adapt delivery to meet individual learning needs and embed English, maths, digital and employability skills where appropriate.
- Use diagnostic and formative assessment tools to track progress, provide constructive feedback and support improvement for successful learner outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance, safeguarding and Prevent; promote equality of opportunity and wellbeing across all aspects of service delivery; maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress and achievement using ACL-approved systems.
- Educated to RQF Level 4 or above in a relevant vocational area (or equivalent professional experience).
- Occupationally competent in delivering qualifications up to and including Level 5.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and up-to-date occupational expertise in a relevant vocational field.
- Proven experience in teaching, training or assessing adults or apprentices, preferably in FE or work-based learning.
- Strong planning, organisational and communication skills with the ability to adapt delivery for diverse learner needs.
- Competent in the use of e-learning platforms, digital tools and online delivery methods.
- Commitment to inclusive education, safeguarding and continuous improvement in teaching practice.
- Support for unpaid carers and flexible working arrangements.
- Must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, or an alternative method to meet mobility requirements.
