About the Role

The Social Worker will work alongside people, their families and carers to help them achieve their goals within the framework of the statutory Care Act requirements. This includes conducting assessments, reviews, support planning and safeguarding discussions, and working collaboratively to develop person‑centred plans.

About You

You are a Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with a creative and reliable approach to practice and a commitment to meeting statutory responsibilities in a person‑centred way. You may have experience chairing meetings and developing strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community. A driving licence and access to a vehicle (or alternative means to meet the mobility requirements of the role) is essential. The role requires travelling around Essex, including Colchester and Clacton.
