Are you looking for a cleaning role that is a little different? We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working at one of our schools, Hipswell House. Working for NYC as a Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings. Full training will be provided, and the hours are between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm, with some flexibility on start and finish time totalling to 10 hours per week over 5 days. For this you will be paid £13.28 per hour. No weekend work!
In addition to this, we can offer the Caretaker responsibilities of opening and locking the site after cleaning, setting the alarm, and ensuring the site is fully secure. We are looking for a caretaker to open the Hipswell House site from 6‑7 am and then to lock the building after the site has been cleaned, from 6:30 pm‑7:15 pm. For this we will pay you £13.28 – £13.47 per hour, usually for 8.75 hours per week. One applicant may be suitable for both roles, although we will consider each role individually.
