As theBusiness Support Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation and efficiency of our residential homes.
The Role
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with residential managers, staff, and external professionals
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities
- Good time management to meet deadlines
- Confidence in using your own initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Solid literacy and numeracy skills
- Willingness to learn procurement and requisitioning processes using SAP (training will be provided)
This role involves regular travel to our residential homes across Kirklees Council, with some flexibility for occasional home working.
Working in Children’s Residential Care is deeply rewarding, though it can present challenges. You’ll be supported by a dedicated team, just as the children are supported by our passionate Residential Care Officers.
