Durham County Council are seeking to appoint an Assistant Team Manager to join the Durham and Chester Le Street Locality Team.
The Assistant Team Manager is responsible for assisting the Manager in work allocation, deployment of resources, ensuring and developing professional standards and performance, plus delegated responsibilities in the Locality Team Manager’s absence.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have an up to date knowledge of multi-Agency working, Court of Protection work and the service’s Integration agenda.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work or recognised equivalent
- Current Social Work England Registration
- Attained progression status following relevant experience in a Social Care setting
- Experience of working with the client group serviced by the team
If successful, you will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
