The predicted salary is between 32243 - 39408 £ per year.
7hrs 30mins a week (11:30am – 1:00pm) required to start September 2026. Our Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant. The successful candidate will have experience of working with children, be flexible, be able to work well within a team and be willing to undertake training including the safeguarding of children.
Duties include:
- Supervising children during lunchtime, both within the school building and outside in the playground
- Communicating effectively with children
- Maintaining a clean and tidy lunchtime environment
- Maintaining good behaviour according to the school’s behaviour policy
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods; however, your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
