Knowsley Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Manager for the Knowsley Safeguarding Children Partnership to provide strategic leadership for partnership governance, performance, quality assurance and continuous improvement across children’s safeguarding services. Working with senior leaders from across health, education, police, social care and other partner agencies, you’ll drive the Partnership’s priorities, lead safeguarding reviews, oversee performance and learning activity, and ensure children and young people’s voices shape local services.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Significant experience in safeguarding, children’s services or a related partnership environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practice.
  • Experience of governance, quality assurance and performance improvement.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and partnership-working skills.
