Children and young people are at the heart of everything we do at the Borough of Royal Greenwich. With this in mind, are you an experienced administrator who is committed to championing the education of all children and young people? We are looking to appoint a Business Support Officer to work within our Targeted Attendance Improvement and Advisory Service who will assist the service and the LA in meeting statutory obligations with regards to school attendance and the welfare of its pupils.
You must be able to work effectively as part of a team and have the ability to work independently and with high levels of efficiency and self-organisation. Knowledge and experience of education services would be desirable, but more importantly we are looking for someone who:
- is a motivated self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of their work
- can manage a varied and deadline-driven workload
- is keen to learn new skills and technologies
- enjoys identifying opportunities to improve and develop services
- is committed to delivering excellent customer service
- works well both independently and as part of a supportive team
If you are an enthusiastic, committed individual with excellent communication and organisational skills and passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people in Royal Greenwich, then you are invited to apply. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply as we are keen for our workforce to be representative of the children and families we serve.
