Responsibilities
- Identify safeguarding concerns and analyse associated risk levels.
- Make timely decisions to address immediate safety issues for adults at risk of abuse and neglect.
- Maintain effective communication with Adult Social Care Locality Hubs and the Safeguarding Adults Board on policy and practice developments.
- Ensure the immediate safety of adults in risk through fast response work.
- Collaborate with the Adult Safeguarding Operational Team on safeguarding practice across communities.
Qualifications
- Hold a Social Work England recognised professional social work qualification and be registered with the SWE.
- Be a full and valid driving licence holder and be able to use a council vehicle or own car.
- Have a DBS check at the appropriate level.
- Have excellent communication, recording, and defensible decision-making skills.
- Have a commitment to safeguarding adults, children, and young people.
