Responsibilities

  • Identify safeguarding concerns and analyse associated risk levels.
  • Make timely decisions to address immediate safety issues for adults at risk of abuse and neglect.
  • Maintain effective communication with Adult Social Care Locality Hubs and the Safeguarding Adults Board on policy and practice developments.
  • Ensure the immediate safety of adults in risk through fast response work.
  • Collaborate with the Adult Safeguarding Operational Team on safeguarding practice across communities.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Social Work England recognised professional social work qualification and be registered with the SWE.
  • Be a full and valid driving licence holder and be able to use a council vehicle or own car.
  • Have a DBS check at the appropriate level.
  • Have excellent communication, recording, and defensible decision-making skills.
  • Have a commitment to safeguarding adults, children, and young people.
