Overview
Hepworth J & I School is a happy, community school with a well-established staff team, supportive parents, a dedicated governing body and children who are a joy to teach. We have a vacancy from September 2025 for a full-time (or 4 day a week negotiable) member of staff to work as a combined Cover Supervisor (2.5 days) / Educational Support Assistant (2.5 days). The role will involve working across both key stages. A knowledge of teaching phonics is an advantage but training will be provided to the right candidate if this isnβt already in place.
Responsibilities
- Form positive relationships with pupils and teach with fun and enthusiasm
- Teach lessons creatively from plans left by teachers and manage behaviour positively
