Responsibilities
The post focuses on providing short-term cover across the school (from nursery to Year 6) in the absence of a classroom teacher, as required. The post holder will also support the school in addressing the needs of students identified as vulnerable or disadvantaged, helping them overcome barriers to learning so they can achieve their full potential. The role includes providing classroom support and interventions as necessary. The post holder will have opportunities to work with the SLT and colleagues to develop the role and impact of the TA team, cover supervisor/learning mentor team.
