At Kirklees Council we strive for innovative and creative approaches to the delivery of services to our communities. Kirklees Council’s Road Safety Team is looking for a positive and friendly role model of good road safety behaviour who brings a flexible attitude and personal initiative to the job.
Responsibilities
- Deliver road safety education, training and publicity designed to influence behaviour and reduce road casualties.
- Use strong presentation skills to help create a safer community for the people of Kirklees.
- Promote safe and active travel to the local community.
Qualifications
- Full and valid driving licence and willing to undertake and pass a Kirklees Council driving test.
- Ability to travel between sites using a Council vehicle.
- Good understanding of road safety.
- Experience working with children and young people.
Benefits and Salary
- Grade 5, permanent position.
- Salary £21,745 - £22,090.
- Hours: 37 (Term Time Only).
