Responsibilities
- Promoting and encouraging good table manners and healthy eating
- Promoting and encouraging games and activities at lunchtime
- Working as a team with other staff and liaising with teachers as needed
- Ensuring appropriate behaviour and addressing issues during lunchtime
- Supporting children in Nursery in accessing provision and developing learning and social skills
- Being a key worker and keeping electronic logs of progress for children in Nursery
- Working under the direction of the teacher
- Following school policies and procedures
Qualifications and requirements
- Experience of working with children/young people in a school environment is essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff
- DBS check (enhanced) required; a conviction may be considered as part of the recruitment process
