The role: As an Events Coordinator, you’ll help plan, coordinate and deliver a high quality, year-round programme in the new public realm events square—making sure every event is safe, welcoming and memorable. You’ll be a key on-the-ground contact during live events, ensuring smooth delivery, compliance with operational standards and great experiences for artists, partners and audiences. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across the OCH campus.

About You: You’re a proactive, resilient team player who can also work independently, juggle competing deadlines and solve problems creatively. You bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, solid IT skills (e.g. Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and social media), and confidence working across multidisciplinary teams. Experience in event coordination is essential; cultural/arts and community engagement experience are a plus. Knowledge of event H&S, and First Aid/H&S certifications are desirable.

Working Pattern And Requirements: This is an on-the-ground role with regular evening, weekend and public holiday work in line with event schedules. You will work a 5 over 7 shift pattern. You’ll need a driving licence or the ability to travel independently across Kirklees.
