The Aspire Faculty is committed to equipping our students with the knowledge, skills and character to thrive independently. As a Progress Tutor you will deliver our Aspire curriculum which supports students to manage their current lives and lays the foundations for managing future experiences.
Through authentic dialogue and focussed target-setting, you will support students to transition successfully to College, commit completely to their chosen study programme and prepare fully for the next steps in their education or career. You will be the first point of contact for students and parents/carers and will monitor attendance, behaviour and commitment, communicating intervention to staff, parents/carers as appropriate. You will also work collaboratively with operations and teaching staff dedicated to providing the best experience to young people. It is therefore vital that you are confidently articulate in both spoken and written communication.
You will be part of an exceptionally committed, friendly and collaborative team of 10 Progress Tutors and 3 Senior Progress Tutors.
