The Brooksbank School, on behalf of Kirklees Council, is advertising this role.

Start date: as soon as your notice allows. We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role.

Location: Calderdale and surrounding areas.

Position type: Permanent.

Hours: 11 hours per week over 2 days (likely Monday and Wednesday) - term-time only plus 2 days.

Salary: Band C (NJC points 4-6). Actual Salary: £6,375 - £6,579.

What the Role Involves

To provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child/children diagnosed with additional needs who require individual support to access learning, and to nurture the child’s social and emotional needs. Responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan to enable access to learning.

We’re looking for someone who is self-driven and wants to deliver the best service. It’s important that you can demonstrate a solution-focused attitude, maintain a positive outlook and work well in a team.
