Position Description: At Ravensthorpe CE (VC) Junior School, we believe every child deserves to flourish academically, socially and spiritually. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join our warm, inclusive and ambitious school community on a fixed-term full-time basis until August 2026, with the potential for the role to extend beyond this date subject to budget. Situated at the heart of a richly diverse community, our four-form entry Church school is a place where children feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve their very best. We are incredibly proud of the progress our pupils make during their time with us, reflected in consistently strong SATs results and recognised in our 2023 Ofsted inspection, where we were graded Good. Inspectors described our school as "Pupils are safe and happy at this friendly, welcoming school. Their conduct is exemplary in lessons and around school."
