Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Highburton CE First Academy. Required from 1.9.26 until 31.8.27. Highburton CE First Academy is a friendly, exciting first school for children from the ages of 4 to 10 years. We pride ourselves on our caring, hard‑working Christian ethos and high standards. The school is located in beautiful countryside with strong community links. We aim to provide every child with the opportunity to succeed and ensure we work in partnership with parents. Our expectations of behaviour and respect are high and we provide an exciting curriculum in order to inspire a life‑long love of learning.

Responsibilities

  • Have primary school experience.
  • Have a commitment to excellence for all and be able to inspire children.
  • Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
  • Enjoy working in the outdoors (forest school leadership is desirable, training will be provided if necessary).
  • Be prepared to complete a paediatric first aid qualification.
  • Be committed to working as a member of a successful team.
