Overview

Fusion Housing seeks an experienced Human Resources professional to join our long-established charity and provide an effective and efficient HR service for the Organisation. We are looking to appoint a CIPD Level 5 (or higher) Qualified Practitioner who is an enthusiastic and dedicated self-starter able to manage their own workload and use their knowledge and experience of HR matters to support both staff and the Organisation. This role is based in Kirklees and is offered on a permanent basis.

Fusion Housing works across the Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield districts of West Yorkshire, providing help for our communities to find and maintain housing through legal advice, employment support, learning opportunities, supported accommodation and local food bank provision.

Currently employing around 75 staff plus volunteers across 4 locations.

The Role Includes

  • Managing recruitment and selection activities.
  • Issuing Contracts of Employment and providing HR reports for management purposes when required.
  • Advising Managers and Trustees on HR issues.
  • Taking ownership of the Organisational Staff Training Plan and coordinating training with Operational Managers.
  • Collating payroll information.

Requirements and Details

Location: Kirklees – Pearl House, 10 John William Street, Huddersfield, HD1 1BA

Position type: Permanent

Hours: Part Time/Full Time (29.6 – 37 hours per week – hours negotiable)

Salary: Band 6A, Β£36,763 to Β£39,085 per annum (pro rata for part-time staff)

Organisation: Fusion Housing (advertised by Kirklees Council on behalf of Fusion Housing)

DBS: A Basic DBS Check will be required
