This temporary position (up to 12 months to cover maternity leave) is based at Flint Street/Home working within the Planning and Technical support team in the Homes & Neighbourhoods service. The role is situated across Kirklees and requires the use of an electronic diary management system to schedule and dispatch work to operatives across a range of trades.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain records in the appropriate databases, ensuring information is current and compliant with GDPR.
- Answer incoming calls professionally, aiming to fully resolve specific and general enquiries relating to a range of service areas.
- Work to strict deadlines for works to be carried out for all customers and clients.
- Reschedule appointments in the diary systems, liaising with operatives and notifying customers of any changes.
- Maintain a good understanding of Health and Safety at Work policies.
Qualifications
- Effective keyboard and IT skills; ability to access a variety of IT systems to retrieve, edit and input information.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with customers, clients and stakeholders.
- GCSE (Grade 4/C) or equivalent in maths and English, or an equivalent qualification.
