Hours and Weeks per Year: Variable

At Kirklees College we are always looking for new talent, and welcome applications from all sectors. In the role of Lecturer in Business and Enterprise, you will be based at Huddersfield. You will be required to effectively plan and deliver teaching across predominantly our Level 1-3 programmes; however, you may be required to teach level 4/5 where appropriate, ensuring a high quality and relevant learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the marketing, development, delivery, assessment and evaluation of programmes to meet market needs and contractual targets and performance criteria.
  • Deliver engaging lectures, facilitate exam preparation and provide support and guidance to students throughout their time at Kirklees College.
  • Manage and monitor the delivery of your programme, support and encourage student achievement.
  • Monitor data, offer guidance to learners, promote retention and progression, and maintain accurate student records.
  • Teach and assess across various courses, ensuring academic standards are met.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support student outcomes.
  • Commit to safeguarding and promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
