Band C: (NJC point 4‑6) – Actual: £6,876 – £7,096 per year
What we’re looking for:
- Provide support to nursery children with additional needs who initially require individual assistance to access learning, developing them to learn more independently, as well as nurturing the child’s social and emotional needs.
- Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable, as is knowledge/experience of Safer Handling and Team Teach – training can be provided.
- Knowledge of Complex Communication and Interaction Needs.
- Be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan to enable access to learning.
- Carry out age‑appropriate interventions within or outside of the classroom.
- Provide the energy, stamina and commitment to make a difference and create the best possible educational opportunities for the young people at Netherton Infant and Nursery School.
