In the role of Health and Social Care lecturer you’ll predominantly be based at the Waterfront Huddersfield site and your focus will be on creating engaging and interactive resources, delivering lessons, marking work, driving our ABC policy and promoting personal development for our learners.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching Health and Social Care topics from Level 1 to Level 3.
- Marking work and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Supporting the Health and Social Care team to create opportunities and change the lives of our learners.
- Monitoring learners' attendance, behaviour and commitment to their study programme as a Group Tutor.
Ideally, you’ll have a degree in a relevant subject, as well as a teaching qualification, or have relevant industry experience and be prepared to undertake a teaching qualification. It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively and engage with young people. As learner experience is at the centre of all we do, it is an expectation you would demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
