Location: Engineering Centre
Hours and Weeks per Year: 37 hours / 52 weeks
Responsibilities- Deliver high‑quality TLA both within workshops and classrooms.
- Assess KSBs within college against the apprenticeship standard.
- Track and assess delivered apprentice progress via E‑Portfolio systems.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Set individualised SMART targets for timetabled apprentices.
- Liaise effectively with your team and work closely with work‑placed trainer assessors.
- Deliver specific units within mandated qualifications.
- Desirable Assessor qualifications and a teaching qualification, or willingness to work toward them.
- Relevant fabrication & welding vocational knowledge to teach and assess within the college delivery environment.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to engage with young people and stakeholders while demonstrating the college values of Kindness, Unity, and Excellence.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
