Join Our Policy, Pay and Reward Team – HR Advisor Full time, 37 hours per week. Part time hours may also be considered. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Advisor to become part of our Policy, Pay and Reward team. This dedicated team is responsible for delivering a range of impactful projects, from pay consultations and job evaluations to the enhancement of employee benefits, as well as the creation and refinement of HR policies and procedures that are implemented across the council. What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing policies, procedures, and associated guidance.
- Delivering training sessions and providing updates on policy, pay and reward initiatives to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Offering advice and guidance in response to queries and questions related to policy, pay, job evaluation, and reward, supporting both employees and management.
- Staying abreast of changes in employment legislation to ensure that all policies and practices remain compliant and up to date.
- Contributing to the implementation of projects related to policy, pay and reward, helping to drive forward improvements and innovation.
- Supporting the job evaluation process.
- Working in partnership with trade unions and teams across the council.
