Working as an Apprentice Highway Maintenance Operative you will work on rural and urban roads to repair damaged surfaces, using hand and power tools and pedestrian plan machinery. You will learn and put into practice a broad range of skills (including project management and engagement and consultation) required for the maintenance and improvement of Kirklees Highways Operations. You will provide support and assistance to other workers who will be part of your team.
