In this role, you'll support the assessment of new development proposals, looking at how they affect roads, safety and accessibility. You'll play a part in promoting sustainable travel options such as walking, cycling and public transport - making a real difference to people's everyday lives.
Alongside your work, you'll study towards the Transport Planning Technician Apprenticeship at Leeds College of Building, fully funded by the Council - so you can earn while you learn. On successful completion, you'll be eligible for professional recognition as a Transport Planning Technician (TPTech/MTPS) or Engineering Technician (EngTech/MCIHT), giving you a strong foundation for a long-term career in transport planning.
