Salary

Range 9-11 of the NJC pay framework for Operational Staff, £26,818 – £28,634 per annum (pro rata £16,608.39 – £17,733.04 per annum). This reflects the reduced working nature of this role.

Role Overview

As the Finance Officer, you will support the Operations Manager / People and Finance Operations Director in delivering a professional and efficient financial service for all stakeholders, including students, in line with the College’s financial regulations, processes and relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

Support financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, manage day‑to‑day financial transactions, and ensure compliance with college policies and statutory requirements. Provide timely financial reporting and analysis to inform decision‑making. Work collaboratively with staff and students to enhance financial service delivery.

Qualifications

A¬ level or equivalent (Level 3) education.

A financial qualification such as AAT, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and effective time‑management skills.
