About the Role
Shelley First School is looking to appoint a kind, caring and hardworking individual to join our committed school team as an Educational Support Assistant. The role supports groups of children with diverse needs and/or works in the Early Years Reception classroom, and requires a warm, inclusive approach.
Responsibilities
- Support children with diverse needs in the classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create a welcoming and inclusive learning setting.
- Use excellent oracy skills to facilitate rich back and forth conversation with children.
Qualifications
- Kind, caring, reliable, team‑player with a real desire to support children.
- Excellent oracy skills and initiative, enthusiasm to work with young learners.
- Experience or willingness to develop skills in supporting children with diverse needs is desirable.
