Role Summary

You will work as a Class Teacher in one of our Key Stage 1 or Lower Key Stage 2 classes, leading curriculum delivery, fostering student growth, and supporting wider school development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach with high expectations, inspiring children to reach their potential.
  • Provide empathetic, nurturing support that considers the whole child.
  • Adapt instruction to meet diverse needs, including SEND and English as an additional language (EAL) pupils.
  • Raise standards and achievement for all learners through targeted skill development.
  • Actively promote school values, encouraging enthusiasm, cooperation and well‑being among students.
  • Contribute to and often lead curriculum development across the school.
  • Engage positively with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Completed the Early Career Teacher (ECT) programme.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop curriculum content.
  • Experience working with KS1 and/or KS2 pupils, particularly within an inclusive setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
