This is an exciting opportunity to join the Child Protection and Review Unit within Kirklees Resources, Improvements and Partnerships directorate. Being an integral part of the Business Support teams.
You have experience in minuting complex and sensitive meetings/conferences. You are able to work as part of a team and build positive working relationships with peers, colleagues and partner agencies. You work collaboratively and flexibly with colleagues in other teams across the Service including the LADO service to provide support as required. You are resilient to sensitive information and can work flexibly as and when required to respond to the demands of the Service. You are aware of Data Protection.
Key dutiesAs a key member of a team, you will undertake a range of duties that will include:
- Minuting Child Protection Conferences, LADO meetings and other complex meetings
- Processing administration work (invites, generating reports and sending of sensitive information)
- Interrogating the IT system for current and historical safeguarding information whilst adhering to the GDPR measures
- Electronic recording
- Dealing with incoming/outgoing electronic enquiries
- General administrative duties
It is essential that you have good IT skills and that you are familiar with a variety of computer packages, in particular Microsoft Office, and that you have a Business and Administration NVQ 3 or be able to demonstrate equivalent skills.
