Overview: The role will be based at WomenCentre Kirklees in Huddersfield and will travel across Calderdale and Kirklees. The adult sexual exploitation partnership (ASEP) brings together eight organisations to provide trauma‑informed support to women who have been targeted for abuse, including sexual exploitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed support on a one‑to‑one basis to women from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, including Romanian, Polish, Hungarian, Pakistani and Indian.
- Brokers solutions to help women address immediate needs, identify and support through crisis, and support women through the process of giving evidence to trials.
- Community outreach across Kirklees and Calderdale.
- Embed best practice in working with young women as they transition into adulthood.
- Work as part of the WomenCentre team, line‑managed within the team, and collaborate with colleagues in other ASEP organisations to share learning, participate in evaluation and wider events.
