Join Our Policy, Pay and Reward Team

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented HR Advisor to join our Policy, Pay and Reward team. The team delivers a wide range of impactful projects—from pay consultations and job evaluations, to enhancing employee benefits and the development of HR policies and procedures used across the council. As our work continues to grow, we’re seeking two individuals to provide essential HR Advisor support, that will help us progress delivery of a high‑quality employee policy, pay and reward offer.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Development of policies, procedures, and associated guidance/flowcharts
  • Development of standard letters
  • Delivering training and updates related to the policy, pay and reward initiatives
  • Providing advice and guidance regarding queries and questions related to policy, pay, job evaluation and reward
  • Keeping up to date with employment legislation changes
  • Contributing to the implementation of policy, pay and reward related projects
  • Supporting the job evaluation process
  • Working in partnership with the trade unions on ad hoc queries
